Our Core Privacy Pillars
Local Sovereignty
Your specific portfolio holdings, account balances, and asset registrations never sit on our database servers. They are stored strictly via localStorage directly on your device. We maintain a strict zero-server-storage policy for retail user portfolios.
Ephemeral AI Processing
When you request a standard AI portfolio consultation, your data is packaged, anonymised, and sent securely to our engine. The calculations are performed ephemerally—meaning the data exists only for the millisecond it takes to compute your optimisation results, and is immediately destroyed. It is never used to train foundational AI models.
Opt-In Collaborative Intelligence
To power our community benchmarking, Leaderboard, and continuous engine training, we use a strict Opt-In model. By default, your data remains entirely local. If you choose to participate, your portfolio allocations and returns are securely stored as de-identified, aggregated telemetry to refine our institutional quant models. Personally Identifiable Information (PII) is structurally separated and never exposed.
Regulatory Compliance
OptiWealth AU complies rigorously with the Australian Privacy Principles (APP) contained in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). Our phased approach to wealth management and our commitment to operating as a secure SaaS technology vendor ensure that our practices exceed standard regulatory baselines.
